During the New Zealand summer holidays, we will be running kid-specific surf camps. Kids are taught water safety and great foundational surfing skills from our highly experienced instructors. These camps are very popular and we recommend booking in advance. Students will be in small group of just 4-6 kids per instructor to ensure personalized instruction.
Parents, you are welcome to stay and watch you child surf, cheer and take photos, or feel free to take advantage of this time to grab a coffee with friends, check out the shops in town, or relax on the beach. Your kids will be well looked after, burn off some energy, have lots of fun and learn valuable ocean and surfing skills.
"Moana" - 1.5hr Kids & Family Private Lesson

For a private lesson scheduled to suit children or families, this option is perfect. Nothing beats having your own private surf instructor. Kids can learn the basics in a safe environment tailored to suit them. Families can surf together and cheer each other on. We recommend a maximum of 6 people to ensure a quality lesson from our accredited instructors .
Bonus: Bring 1 or more friends or family members along and you’ll pay $50 per additional surfer.
"Pau" - 1hr Private Lesson

For your very own lesson scheduled to suit you, a private lesson package is perfect. Nothing beats personalized surf instruction with a professional coach. Perfect for those wanting to fast track their surfing, for those who learn best one-on-one, or those who want a lesson with just their significant other or buddies. You’ll receive everything that’s included in the group lessons, in addition to having your own personal surf instructor.
We’ll match you with a highly experienced surf coach who has the proper experience teaching your level and style of surfing. All equipment hire is included. You’ll receive a quality surfboard and full length wetsuit, correctly fitted to you.
